The Little Blue Door

Keep up with our Family Growing Up Behind The Little Blue Door

I took Malcolm (Farley came along too) to see his first movie in the movie theatre.  At first I was going to take him to a Stars and Strollers screening but decided that although it might give us some freedom to make a little more noise than usual, the potentially fussing babies may be too much of a distraction.  So this afternoon Malcolm got to see Toy Story 3 in 3D in the movie theater just like a big kid.
He did a stellar job and watched the whole movie, only talking a little bit.  At one point he got up and moved to the seat next to another girl instead of sitting next to Mom and Farley (does it really begin this early?).  At the end of the movie he wanted to get a copy to take home and I explained that we had to wait till it came out on DVD before we can take it home.  Of course he had to ask one of the theatre employees if the movie was going to come out on DVD because I guess he just didn't believe me.  He then wanted to know when Toy Story 4 is going to come out...

This was definitely a good experience, and we'll be doing it again.  The only problem, the ticket prices...when did that happen?
