These photos of our Magnolia bush may not look like much but they are worth noting for me. They do not compare to flower laden ones in our neighbourhood, but it is a big accomplishment for our back yard. This is the first year that flowers have not been eaten off by some type of animal (likely squirrels) right as they were about to open. I don't know if the other buds will be allowed to flourish so I thought I'd snap a few pictures this morning just in case this is as good as it gets.

I've never noticed magnolia trees until just this year. They're so pretty!
