D Stands For Done

Christmas shopping that is. Anyone that has spent time in a store with me will attest to the fact that I'm not a good shopper. I like getting new stuff but I'm no good at picking it out and forking over money for it. I'm much better when it comes to buying gifts for others, but I still don't look forward to the full parking lots, crowded aisles, re-circulated air and too hot temperature. This afternoon I left Malcolm alone in the very capable hands of his Dad for only the second time in his life (the first was when I got a long needed hair cut). I'm back home and the two boys are off for a walk to the shopping center. I can't believe I'm home alone with the cats, I don't remember the last time that was...

Last night was Dennis, Sarah, Emily, and baby Tommy's Annual pot luck supper and gift exchange. Silly me I forgot the camera so I don't have any pictures to share. I know that there were lots of photo ops, and flashes going off so if anyone wants to send me pictures and doesn't mind if I share them with the world please e-mail me. It was a great evening with good food and even better friends. I think that the gift exchange, although didn't get nasty with the stealing, can be considered a success.
Thank you for inviting us into your home Emily, and entertaining us with the 'naked dance'!
