It's hard to believe with all the snow we got over the last week the ski season is coming to a close. Both Malcolm and Farley were registered for the 8 week program which wrapped up last week and Ashley is skiing his last scheduled patrol day.
This season has worked out really well; on the days that Ashley patrolled he would head to the hill to open, along with most of the kids equipment. The boys and I would follow about an hour and half later to get to the hill for Malcolm's group lesson to start at 10:00. Farley was in a one-on-one session that started at 10:30. Ashley, Darwin and I would then go have something to eat and then pick the boys up at the end of lessons at 11:00. They would have some lunch and perhaps take a run or two with daddy, then Farley, Darwin and I would come home while Ashley and Malcolm would stay until the end of day sweep.
Both boys made significant improvements. Malcolm finished up the mini Viking ski program, and received his Tiger badge. Farley made it onto the big hill and finished his Giraffe level!
Today Malcolm headed to the hill with Ashley to open and stayed the full day, dividing his time between skiing, eating, reading and playing on the tablet.
