Malcolm was on the verge of reading for quite a while now, and a few months ago he finally decided / realized that he could actually read. He has been reading at an alarming rate ever since.
It is the little things that crack me up now that he can read well just about anything; while walking through the store last week he pipes up "I really love my new gift" I was perplexed, he hadn't got a gift in a while. When I asked him what he was talking about, he said very simply " I was just reading the sign. See" and pointed to a display. Today when he was picking up the mail for me, "Mom if you pay $24 you can get three big pizzas and free delivery!"
