Rolling

At dinner tonight Farley, who was lying on the floor beside the table, managed to roll from his back to front for the first time.  He's been close before but this time I noticed he seemed to be really going for it.  Ashley got down on the floor to encourage him even more.  It is hard to watch your child struggle and grunt away when it would be so easy just to give him that last little tip over or pull out his arm from underneath but at the same time you really want to be able to say he did it on his own.  We stayed hands off and he did it, of course we then flipped him back just so he could do it again and not loose the momentum.  The second time was much faster and with a better completion, he then stayed on his tummy for a little while looking around which is in itself a bit of a milestone as up to now Farley has hatted tummy time.
