We are not afraid to admit that we have scored some pretty good finds in our neighbourhood on garbage night. The list is extensive from furniture and light fixtures to toys and lawnmowers we have done our part for the environment by keeping things out of the landfills. Our most recent acquisition is a bit of the holly grail.
When Ashley and I first met all those years ago, one afternoon we ended up in the T-Room playing Air Hockey. I got my butt kicked, or 'schooled' as Ashley so fondly calls it. Since we've been living together Ashley has said he wanted to get a full size Air Hockey table. We've seen lots of the smaller ones either in the garbage or going for sale used but that was never good enough. Last week Ashley came home with a large Air Hockey table complete with four paddles and three pucks. Good thing that I finally got the basement cleaned-up a little bit as currently we do have the space for this monstrous piece of gaming.
This is not where the story ends. I think the person that has been the most pleased is Malcolm. He very quickly picked up the game and has been eagerly asking to go downstairs and play ever since he was introduced. The excited screaming and squealing is something to marvel at as I'm upstairs making dinner.
