This is not child abuse, these marks are the result of Malcolm's favorite sleeping position. He flips onto his stomach and sleeps with his hands under his face. Normally when he wakes up he plays around in his crib for a while before letting us know he wants up. Today we had to wake him up from his nap in order to get him back to bed for the night at a decent hour (he ended up staying up later than his 7:00-7:30pm bedtime anyway). This was the sleepy/marked up face that greeted us.
